Our poodles are raised in a loving, home environment. The puppies are socialized as they are born, being held, talked to, taken care of, along with providing clean, healthy living quarters for mom and pups. Whelping takes place with us beside them, then the moms and new pups are in our sunroom, kitchen, and beside our bed, until the pups are old enough to be weaned from mom and on their own with the other young puppies. The older poodles have a fenced back yard along with an exercise covered area to protect them from the sun etc. They all take turns sleeping with us or beside our bed. Poodles are intelligent, playful, loving, and very loyal. Because they don’t shed, poodles are often the breed of choice for people with allergies.

Baby started this whole poodle thing. We acquired her 14 years ago and we have been hooked on poodles ever since. Baby was  taken over by my aunt Dollie, they took good care of each other.  When anyone went near Dollie, she was right there to make sure that all was well and slept at the foot of her bed.  We all miss Baby as she has gone over the Rainbow. Now Aunt Dollie likes all of the poodles, especially the tiny ones.  We have added to our family, learned more about raising and breeding poodles, and made many poodle owner friends in the process.  Recently, we have been privileged to have an AKC champion, Nicole.  Now we are showing some of our poodles, ourselves, in the UKC show ring. This is a new experience for us. Besides, my daughter in law showing some of my poodles, we have some teens that handle some of the poodles.  If it stops being fun for us or the poodles, then I will stop showing my dogs. Many of our poodles have champion lines in their pedigree. We recently completed  four UKC champions.

We work hard at breeding and producing healthy, happy, friendly dogs that are well socialized, have good dispositions, and are of correct conformation according to AKC standards. I am constantly learning more about poodles every day. We NEVER sell to pet stores, puppy mills or irresponsible breeders. I take great care in matching my dogs to individual owners, so that the buyer will be satisfied and the dog will receive the love and care it deserves. We keep in contact with most of our puppy owners. You can look at happy owners link as we will be adding to it as we go along. References are available from previous happy owners (who now are our friends) and our veterinarians upon request. We have tiny toys, toy, miniature, and standard poodles in various colors; black, red, apricot, and brown. Occasionally, we have other colors, such as champagne and silver beige. We also, have partis and phantoms. Older adolescent puppies and adult dogs are occasionally available.

Klein is a newer word used to describe poodles that have a standard in the background and a klein litter can range from miniature size to small or regular standard size.  The idea is that people wanted to have the temperament of the standard poodle, while having the option of the smaller size standard or larger miniature size. Europe has had four sizes of poodles and the US is looking at the klein.   Sierra & Sonny are Kleins.  Their litters produce sizes from small miniatures to regular size standards.  People who own their puppies say their dispositions and beauty are admired by all who are around them.  See pictures of Sierra and Sonny on the Miniature, Sire, and Dam pages. 

All “pet puppies” (ones not specifically purchased for breeding or as show prospects) are sold with an AKC “limited registration” and a spay/neuter agreement. It is not possible to give exact size, color, or personality of a puppy when it is grown. I can only estimate based on previous litters, parent’s characteristics, and charts used by other breeders as a guideline. For this reason, I make no claims as to size, color, disposition of your puppy . We represent our puppies as beautiful loving pets only. If you wish to breed and/or show and your puppy is fertile and/or finishes in the show ring, then you have an added bonus, besides a great family addition.
